Extensive multinational audit and consulting firms have struggled in recent years with the potential conflict between auditing and consulting from the same companies and a toxic workplace culture. Most companies will not be able to afford the prices of these consultants, but the behavior of the big companies, the corporate leaders, influences every company by setting the standards. The influence of these large corporations on government policies (and health and safety policies at work) is also worth noting and is under review by some governments.
